This Hoskins-Derden Reunion was EXTRA Special this year!
Not only did we cruise to Grand Cayman and Cozumel ...
and celebrated our 1st Anniversary (a little early)...
But we also celebrated Shirley and Archie's 50th wedding anniversary.
It was a truly amazing trip that we will never forget!

It was gray and rainy when we left - but we didn't mind...

Our cabin was a dream - U93 if anyone is sailing soon - we highly recommend it!

The "Head" with the whirlpool tub

A walk-in closet with lots of storage

The cabin is spacious and there was plenty of room for all three of us
(not that Dale was there much - lol!)

The cabins have been outfitted with the Carnival Comfort Bed
which is like sleeping in a cloud - the bed of my dreams!!

Each night our wonderful Cabin Steward left us an
adorable creature to keep us company

The sunsets and sunrises are phenomenal, of course...
as were the nightly lightening shows that nature put on for us.

The ship is gorgeous - not many pictures since I was just having too much fun to take many pictures.

The dining was unreal - the food was non-stop and delicious.

Our first stop was Grand Cayman
Jeff and I shopped and ate at a local place with the Gimp Chicken and her baby while Dale went off with his cousins and swam with the Stingrays.

Our second stop was Cozumel, Mexico.
The water is like nothing I have ever seen before - SO beautiful!

Dale went parasailing - and had a wild anteater climb up his leg on the beach!

Jeff and I went shopping and he bought me a beautiful Tanzanite and Opal ring for my anniversary present.

As we left Mexico,

we enjoyed the surprise 50th Wedding Anniversary Party that Shirley and Archie's kids and grandkids put on for them.
They did such a wonderful job on the party and I know that Shirley and Archie were touched by this gesture of love that their family showed them.
We all had a great time.

6 days and 5 nights of chatting, eating, dancing, karaoke, snorkeling, parasailing, fishing, gambling, shopping, sight-seeing, drinking, napping and totally enjoying the trip, the ship and each other...we sailed back into Tampa.

We hope to do it again - we've heard rumors that the next Reunion may be a cruise to Alaska...sounds good to me!

Some of us just weren't ready to say good-bye yet.
So, we had a clan get-together at the Ole Fish Camp the day after we got back...
